This Raccoon Supply Pack contains the materials needed to follow along with the Sarafina Raccoon Tutorial on YouTube, also linked below. Makes two raccoons. Note: If you are just getting started you will also need a felting surface and needles. She also uses the Zullitool for this (and many other) project/s. You may want to get one if you do not have it! Please see our Tools and Hardware Section. This is an older tutorial that was filmed before the invention of Tacky Wrap Sticks and the Tacky Wrap Sticky Bun or Swax. If Sara was making this project today she would use Tacky Wrap, and Swax if she felt the fibers needed even more help to stick. She would use these tools over beeswax.

The kit arrived very quickly and the quality is so good! I had so much fun making this, and the videos were easy to follow. Since this was my first time needle felting ever I didn't have high expectations, however, it surpassed my highest expectations and turned out to be SO ADORABLE. I did not have to worry about the amount of wool I was using and I even had quite a bit left over (excluding the half left aside for the second raccoon). Even as a complete beginner, I didn't encounter any major problems or difficulties, and I managed to finish the first raccoon over 3 days (I'd say around 4-5 hours of work in total, for one raccoon). One thing I would change is the eyes, instead of felting them like in the video, I recommend purchasing little black beads and attaching them using string then needling them in. I would love to see this option added to kits in the future, especially for this kit since the eyes are on a black portion of the raccoon's face. I felt that the price was very reasonable and you are definitely getting your money's worth. Overall this kit was a solid 10/10 for me and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, from a complete beginner to a seasoned professional. This was a great supply pack. The material was very high quality and the amount was enough to make the two racoons with out having to worry about skimping on any color to stretch it between the two projects. I love your products and will definatly order again.
