Skin tones are tough to come by. When I dye roving for skin tones it is often too flat, too warm, or too cool. I have found that by blending similar tones and values together I get a more dynamic, alive, and realistic color.
These house carded roving bundles are a blend of various wools that lend themselves to needle felting small features. Each bundle is carded several times to make the colors blend seamlessly.
Olive - A light medium brown like a cafe au' lait.
