We love Flat Matt, and when we cut him to size there are Matt Scraps that simply can't go to waste. Flat Matt is a merino prefelt
that can be used many different ways, from wet felting landscapes and
pillows (and purses and journal covers!) to flat felting pet portraits
and so much more. Flat Matt is hardier than merino prefelt at about
1/4" thick, and please note that you will find some vegetable matter
throughout. Flat Matt is a cousin of Philip N. Felts and is a
by-product of another industry, so putting him to use is not only
economical but re-purposing and upcycling.
The sizes of Scrappy Matt Matt Scraps will vary in your 8 oz bag, but they are able to be used in many smaller felting projects.
